Microsoft Teams keyboard shortcuts can be used to navigate around this product more quickly.  This latest blog follows on from the series of blogs already written on general keyboard shortcuts and more specific ones for Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SmartArt.

There are some great options for generally working in the application, starting to use specific parts of the software, work with messaging or use meetings, calls and calendars effectively.

General Shortcuts

  • Show keyboard shortcuts – CTRL + .
  • Show commands – CTRL + /
  • Goto – CTRL + G
  • Start new chat – CTRL + N
  • Open Help – F1
  • Zoom in – CTRL + =
  • Reset zoom level – CTRL + 0
  • Go to Search – CTRL + E

  • Open apps flyout – CTRL + `

Navigation Shortcuts

  • Open Activity – CTRL + 1

  • Open Calls – CTRL + 5
  • Go to previous list item – ALT + ↑
  • Move selected team up – CTRL + SHIFT + ↑
  • Go to previous section – CTRL + SHIFT + F6
